The 4400 Torsion Spring tile intended to improve fully downward accessible attachment systems. While we still do see specifications for this product from time to time, the release of the True Access system in 2020 has proved to be far superior for easier installation, and more consistent reveals over time.
The 9Wood Torsion Spring Tile wood ceiling offered a floating tiled appearance with downward access. The 4400 style snaps up into butterfly-notched T-Bar brackets.
The Torsion Spring Tile provided a floating tiled look with concealed suspension using real wood veneers on fire rated cores. This is an accessible system, with pull down, spring release accessibility however, the 4600 True Access innovation launched in 2020 proved to be far superior for longevity and at the same price point.
