For the renovation of the office spaces at 1800 M Street in Washington, DC, 9Wood was selected to bring a natural wood finish to public spaces and collaboration areas while maintaining full ceiling accessibility. Walnut veneer was chosen for the ceilings and walls, adding rich, warm tones to the interior. The True Access Grille ceiling system provides convenient access to the plenum while minimizing maintenance requirements. Factory-attached fabric scrim creates a visual barrier to conceal overhead building systems. In addition to aesthetic and functional benefits, the Grille ceiling delivers excellent acoustic performance, making it an ideal solution for high-traffic areas and conference rooms.
