Paul Hastings in San Diego is an early 9Wood project featuring Curved Trim with the 1114-6 Cross Piece Grille. Notice how the wood ceiling follows the contour of the curved walls, these perimeter conditions are capped with a custom curved trim made and delivered by 9Wood.
The architect for the 2008 remodel of Paul Hastings’ San Diego office was AECOM, formerly DMJM H&N, with DMJM Rottet Interior Architecture playing a key role in the interior architecture for the project. The remodel project was characterized by a contemporary modernist architectural style, emphasizing clean lines, open spatial volumes, and high-end finishes. The design, led by AECOM/DMJM Rottet Interior Architecture and Lauren Rottet, integrated advanced workplace concepts such as sculpted space, minimal ornamentation, and the strategic use of light to create the illusion of larger volumes
